Hey, y’all! Happy Monday! How was your weekend? The weather was so gorgeous here! We had a fun time at a surprise birthday party on Saturday, then spent as much time outside as possible! This girl is on Spring Break this week with no plans really! I have a lot of things I want to get done, so I’m planning on staying busy!
If you’ve been following me for awhile, then you know that I wear button ups a lot! I have so many in my closet, and it’s one of those styles that I automatically gravitate towards. I love them because there are so many different ways you can wear them. One of my favorite ways to wear them is with a good pair of distressed denim and some heels. I love this look because it’s casual, but still looks dressy. With this look I would typically tuck my shirt in in the front to make it look a little more put together.
Another way I love to wear button ups is with distressed denim or shorts and a pair of tennis shoes. This look is perfect if you’re going for a super casual look and are just running some errands or grabbing a quick lunch! Definitely casual, but you still look put together!
I love topping off both of these looks with some statement jewelry – duh! A good statement necklace or pair of earrings can pull the entire look together. If you’re feeling fancy, go ahead and wear both! Yes, that’s breaking one of the rules I mentioned in this post about how to wear statement jewelry, but sometimes rules are meant to be broken! 🙂
Any way you choose to style your button up, you’re bound to look good and get many compliments! If you don’t have any button ups right now and aren’t sure where to start, I’ve got ya covered!
Here are some of my favorite button ups:
Which one is your favorite?
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great week!
