Hello, everyone! Happy Friday! Anyone else doing their Friday dance like I am today?! What is everyone’s plans for this weekend? I’ll be curled up on the sofa tonight with a glass of wine. Tomorrow night, I’m going to a holiday get together with some new girl friends! A friend of mine invited me to join in their yearly tradition of watching “Love Actually” and doing a gift exchange! We are doing a “favorite things” gift exchange. Has anyone ever done one of those? [You can read about it here!] Word on the street is we are also having a macaroni and cheese bar! Say whaaat?! I’m really excited for it!
The weather has cooled down a lot here in the past few days. I have a feeling I’m going to be wearing warm ponchos like this one a lot more lately! I love that it’s acceptable to walk around with basically a blanket wrapped around you! How much better can it get? A good poncho or and cape is a really great item to have in your closet, because you can literally throw them on over a basic thermal and look amazing. They look good with booties, over the knee boots, and flats! Not to mention they are also crazy comfortable. I love the fringe on the poncho I’m wearing in today’s post, and I also love that it’s reversible! When wearing a solid-colored poncho like the one I’m wearing today, it’s a good idea to throw in a pattern or something with a little bit more going on underneath. If your poncho is plaid or patterned in some way, best to stay safe with a solid-colored sweater underneath.
Here are a few more of my favorite capes and ponchos for the season:
Now is the time to stock up on these cozy little things! I promise you won’t regret having a few of these to curl up in when it’s 30 degrees outside this winter and snowing!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Enjoy your weekend!
