Well, I cannot believe I am officially writing my last blog post of 2016.  This past year has been a complete whirlwind for me.  There have been so many changes, and I have grown so much because of all of them.

If you would have told me a year ago that I would be moving to North Carolina, I would not have believed it for one second.  Mitch and I moved to Raleigh in June, and it has been the most exciting thing I could have ever imagined.  I am definitely not one to branch out of my comfort zone, so this was a bit of a stretch for me.  The moved itself has tested me in so many ways, and I have grown so much as a person because of it.

I would have never imagined I would be so engrossed and in love with this blog of mine.  It is seriously a passion that I love and would have never imagined I would want to spend my time this way.  It is something I look forward to working on and improving daily.  This year I hit the 1 year milestone in October!  I have learned so much in the little amount of time I have been working on it.  There have been a lot of ups and a lot of downs.  And I have learned so much from all of those experiences.  I would never have imagined that I would have readers loyal enough to come back here each day to see what I had to say.  Or followers who would support me on social media the way y’all do.  Thank you all SO much for helping make Style & Sequins what it is today.

There are so many people I need to thank that have helped me so much in this past year.  First of all, this blog would not exist without my wonderful boyfriend, Mitch.  You have been so supportive of me from day one.  I can always count on you to keep me motivated and keep things in perspective.  I really do not know where I would be without you.  I appreciate all the hours you put into taking pictures and helping me with this blog.  It means the world to me, and I cannot thank you enough.

I want to make sure to thank all of my family and friends that have always been so supportive of Style & Sequins and this dream I have.  And thank you to all of the brands that I have worked with over the past year.  I have had many great experiences, and I wouldn’t change anything.

I’m so excited to see what the future has in store for both myself personally and Style & Sequins.  2016 was a big year with a lot of changes.  And I’m so optimistic as to what 2017 has in store.  I hope to continue to grow this blog into something that continues to be a place of inspiration for y’all.

Thank you again for all of your support.  It seriously means the world to me!

Peace out 2016!  Cheers to 2017!

 Sig
